2017 will mark the fourth annual Project Light Year – an online experience developed and led by Liv Lane. The 12-month virtual class allows kindred spirits around the world to establish meaningful, lasting connections in a private online setting while digging into a wide array of spiritually-enriching and heart-expanding topics, catapulting our personal growth at the speed of light. This next year, Project Light Year’s all-new curriculum and community will center around and expand upon the sacred teachings of Infinite Purpose.
It’s a book, but more importantly, it’s a way of life.
We are dear friends – an intuitive and an artist – who never expected to work together. But in the fall of 2014, Spirit swooped in to deliver profound messages through Liv, inspired art through Lori, and specific instructions (yes, really!) for sharing them with the world.
By the fall of 2015, those teachings had become a book! Infinite Purpose: Care Instructions for Your True Calling provides clear direction and divine inspiration to jumpstart your own spine-tingling journey to joy via a profound eight-step path to purpose that is already changing lives and proving anything is possible.
Well, because it’s going to be amaaaaaazing! AND because we just know it’s what we’re meant to do. If you tuned in to the post-election webinar we hosted, The Afterglow, it was pretty obvious that Spirit knew all along that the results of the U.S. elections would become the catalyst for a great awakening. They called upon all who felt drawn to that event, and to ones like this, to come together for the highest good. “You are the ones,” Spirit said, “who have the power to create peace, choose light, walk with grace and lead the way. You are the afterglow.”
So, here we all are, reporting for duty. We will work our way through the Infinite Purpose book throughout the year, but expand upon those sacred teachings in all kinds of awe-inspiring ways. We are ready to rise, aligning with our highest potential and brightest selves. Bring it on, 2017!

Liv Lane, Intuitive Adviser
For nearly 20 years, Liv built a successful career in communications as a radio host, publicist, and media company co-founder, quietly leveraging her lifelong intuitive gifts to guide her decisions. But, feeling called to a deeper mission creatively and spiritually, she left corporate America in 2007. In the years since, Liv has has inspired thousands of women to leap into their bright futures with clarity and confidence. She teaches popular personal growth classes and workshops, provides intuitive readings and private coaching, and speaks about the power of purpose. She’s also passionate about youth causes and currently serves as board vice chair for the National Resilience Institute.
Liv lives in Minneapolis with her husband Brad, their two sons, one crazy rescue pup and an invisible army of angels.
Lori Portka, Artist
Lori is a licensed artist whose mission is to spread love and happiness through the art she creates. Her distinctive paintings feature vibrant imagery and life-affirming messages dedicated to kindness, gratitude and being true to yourself. In 2015, Lori illustrated Kris Carr’s Crazy Sexy Love Notes card deck, which quickly became a Hay House best-seller. The same year, her 100 Thank Yous project was the subject of a widely-celebrated short documentary film called Gratitude Grows, and in the fall of 2016, the film aired during an episode of Oprah Winfrey’s Super Soul Sunday. Lori’s colorful artwork appears on greeting cards, prayer flags, and stationary merchandise at hundreds of retailers around the world.

When does class start and what do I need to do?
Our year together began on Monday, January 9, 2017 — but registration remains open. As soon as you sign up, you’ll receive an email with all of the information you need to access our online classroom and private Facebook community. Please make sure your email server allows our emails – via – to get through. Sometimes, people find it winds up in spam, in Gmail’s “promotions” tabs or elsewhere.

How much time will I need to devote to this?
Honestly, as much or as little as you want. Whenever there’s new content in the online classroom, we’ll alert you. You can do the reading, suggested projects and reflections at your pace. Most ‘lessons’ only take a few minutes to read through, and our new online classroom will conveniently keep track of what you’ve already completed.
As for the Facebook group, some people visit the page multiple times a day while others may drop in once a week or less. You truly get to choose how much time you put in…and how much magic you get out of it!
Do I have to be part of the Facebook group?
There’s no requirement to be part of the private Facebook group, but it is highly encouraged. The bonding and learning that takes place through the discussions and support there are really enriching.
If you’re worried about privacy, know that although your Facebook “friends” could potentially see that you’re a member of the group, they cannot see any of the content you or anyone else posts in this private space. If you don’t have a Facebook account and don’t want to engage with friends and family there, you can set up an alias Facebook profile using a nickname that does not identify you or alert real-life connections that you’ve joined. For instance, one past participant signed up using her late grandmother’s first and last name and has posted no personal details in her profile.
How do I pay and is it secure?
On the payment options listed above and below, choose the one you want and then click on the blue-bordered box at the bottom of that option to begin your payment. Please make sure to fill in your address and email correctly so you can receive all class materials.
We accept all major credit and debit cards. All payments are processed securely through SendOwl and Stripe. We never see your credit card information; that only goes to our payment processors. That’s why it’s really important to KEEP THE EMAILS you receive from SendOwl; they’ll send you one or two receipts, depending on the kind of payment you choose (one time vs monthly). If you need to change anything, you may need to refer to the unique code on your receipts.

How does the payment plan work?
If you choose the 12 month payment plan, you’ll be charged your first payment right away, and then the next payment will be automatically withdrawn from your credit card every 30 days or so for the next 11 months. To sign up for this subscription-based payment plan, just click on the “Sign Up Now” button (see payment options) and input your contact information and credit card details. You will receive three important emails; a confirmation of payment, a receipt with a special code you must keep in case you need to change your credit card details during the year, and an email that asks you to click a link to confirm you want to be on our mailing list for the class (please make sure to do this!).
In order to make this possible, we are trusting you will fulfill your end the deal. By choosing the payment plan, you agree that your monthly fee will be paid in a timely manner throughout the 12 months. This means that if your card is declined for some reason, you will remedy the situation by changing cards or adding enough money to your account to cover the automatic withdrawal.
Do you offer refunds?
You can request to cancel your participation and receive a refund during the first three days of class if you have a sense, after reviewing the initial content, that the course will not be a good fit for you. This means you’ll need to submit a request via email to by 11:59pm CST on January 11, 2017. You’ll be removed from the mailing list and Facebook group, and the password to our online classroom will be changed after that date. After January 11th, no refunds will be issued.
